Fr. Daniel Good, JCL
Father Dan Good is the Pastor of St. Philip and St. Michael Parishes. Fr. Dan is a Canon Lawyer and manages the marriage section of the Archdiocesan Tribunal. Fr. Dan is passionate about the Holy Land. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. Fr. Dan is the State Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus. He also serves as an Assistant Chaplain for the Mobile Police Department and Mobile Fire-Rescue. Fr. Dan teaches the deacon candidates for the Archdiocese. Fr. Dan loves being a priest. He also enjoys spending time with parishioners and friends, watching movies (especially superhero movies), video games, reading, hunting, fishing, doing science, running, and being outdoors.

Deacon Sonny Scott
Deacon Sonny is a father and grandfather. He loves God’s Word. Deacon Sonny served as an Army Medic and eventually retired from the service after many years. Deacon Sonny is also a trained master electrician.
Mary Kathryn Ladnier
Parish Catechetical Leader
Mary Kathryn Ladnier is the Parish Catechetical Leader of St Philip Neri and St. Michaels’. She is a 2020 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a degree in Theology and Catechetics. She also is a graduate of the Class of 2016 of McGill Toolen Catholic High School. She oversees the Parishes’ Religious Education (CCD), Youth Ministry, RCIA, Adult Faith Formation, and other ministries for the parish per request of Father Dan. You have probably seen her most frequently reading at Mass. Mary Kathryn loves talking with family, friends, and parishioners, especially over a great cup of coffee. She loves music of all genres. She loves to spend as much time as possible on the water or on a boat soaking up the sun. She is a proud fan of the Crimson Tide. Mary Kathryn spends most of her time reading, going to the gym, painting, socializing, eating some good seafood, playing a pick up game of basketball, watching the Office, and of course praying. Mary Kathryn is always ready for an adventure, and is happy to be serving our parish as a South Mobile County Native. Roll Tide Y’all.
